PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING “My Gillette” Additional Terms CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE MY GILLETTE SERVICE. BY ACCEPTING THEM AND USING OUR SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING:
Gillette offers you the possibility to personalise the razor handle of your choice on the My Gillette website. You will be requested to choose the design of the personalised handle and then purchase the razor from our partner Pleinshoppen.
This agreement is between you and “Gillette” or “Procter & Gamble UK LTD” and constitutes Additional Terms and Additional Privacy Provisions to the general terms and conditions and Privacy policy of my Gillette website.
YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
In order to obtain the personalised razor, you need to be at least 18 years old and provide Procter & Gamble on my Gillette site, your name, address and email address and the delivery address for the personalised razor. This information will be collected, processed and stored by Procter & Gamble only for the purpose of providing you with your personalized razor handle.
During the personalisation process, you will be informed and redirected from my Gillette website to Pleinshoppen website to purchase the razor. At this stage, Procter & Gamble will exclusively share your email address with Pleinshoppen. Once you are on Pleinshoppen website, Pleinshoppen or its trusted payment processor may ask you to provide more personal information, please note that Pleinshoppen privacy policy, price and terms and conditions apply.
RAZOR HANDLE PERSONALISATION CONDITIONS:
GENERAL
1. The actual printing on the handle result may distinguish from what is displayed on your screen. We are not able to guarantee a one-to-one printing result illustration of your razor design on screen, as this depends also on settings of your display/monitor.
2. As it is a bespoke item, your personalized razor cannot be returned, except if your razor is defective. Please be certain about your submission before making it.
3. You are offered various choices to personalise your razor:
- You can select a “special edition” which we have designed for you. The special design cannot be edited.
- You can choose from a series of backgrounds, which we have created for you for inspiration. Please feel free to use these backgrounds and modify them with the tools available to you.
- There is clipart that you can use to personalize your razor handle.
- You can upload a photo or image that can be used to personalise your razor handle. Please take time to read the below ‘my Gillette content submission agreement’ to ensure your photo or image can be used.
- You can use our “text tool” to enter text. Please take time to read the below ‘my Gillette content submission agreement’ to make the appropriate choice of text.
4. When the personalisation is completed, we will confirm by e-mail your order of the personalised of the razor and will then send you an e-mail once the purchase of the razor has been completed to confirm the start of production, the expected delivery timings as well as a link to a page on My Gillette to check the status of your order.
MY GILLETTE CONTENT SUBMISSION AGREEMENT
When you decide to submit a personalised content other than the selection offered by My Gillette and , please read the following agreement carefully, as it details what you may submit and how P&G may use your materials. By accepting these terms and conditions checking box to show that you agree to these terms, you agree to the following. If you cannot agree to the terms, do not check the box and do not submit any content to us.
“Content Submission” means any text, photograph, artwork or other materials or information submitted to the services.
1. You will upload or create content that does not violate the terms of this agreement and will not cause injury to any person or entity.
2. You will submit content that you alone have created, and you will not submit content incorporating third party images, photos, videos, music, lyrics, etc. You will also not use any names, pictures, likenesses of any other persons in the content you submit to us.
3. You will submit content consistent with “good taste” and the submission guidelines detailed in the agreement. You will not submit any "objectionable" material for inclusion on the custom items.
Content SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
You agree that you shall not upload any submission that includes or references any one or more of the following:
- Offensive, profane, vulgar, obscene or inappropriate language or visuals;
- Defamatory, libelous, or slanderous content;
- Content which consists in third party’s trademarks or logos or infringes any third party's copyright, patent, trade secret, right of publicity, right of privacy, moral rights, and/or any other applicable personal or proprietary rights;
- Content which violates any law, statute, ordinance or regulation;
- Content that engages in, encourages, advocates, or provides instructions for conduct that would constitute a criminal or civil offense under any law, statute, ordinance or regulation;
- Material or content that is, or may reasonably be considered to be, hate speech, whether directed at an individual or group, or that is otherwise unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership, corporation, or political body;
- Material or content for which you were compensated or granted any consideration by any third party;
- Content or materials in which you impersonate another person or entity;
- Content which includes third party websites, addresses, email addresses, contact information or phone numbers;
- Programming or materials containing any trojan horses, computer viruses, worms, harmful code, or other potentially damaging computer programs or files.
P&G shall have the right, but not the obligation, to pursue any one or more of the following actions with regard to your submissions and your interaction with the services:
- To monitor or review your submission;
- To remove any submission within the services tool that it deems, in its sole discretion, to violate the content submission guidelines noted above or any other provision of this agreement; and
- to suspend or terminate your access to the services as P&G deems appropriate in the circumstances.
P&G does not guarantee that you will have any opportunity to edit or delete any submission that you have submitted. You acknowledge that you, not P&G, are responsible for the contents of any submission(s). None of the submissions that you upload shall be subject to any obligation of confidence on the part of P&G, its third party service providers and agents, or their respective directors, officers and employees.
Personalised razor order preparation and delivery
After you have completed the payment of the personalized razor at PleinShoppen, you will be redirected to My Gillette site and we will provide you with the personalised razor Order No.
We will start personalising your razor once Pleinshoppen confirms the razor purchase is complete.
We will then send you an email confirming your personalised razor order No. and include a link to a page enabling you to track the progress of the personalised razor preparation. You will be able to connect by identifying yourself with your email address and your order No.

Miscelleaneous
The razor personalisation service is offered to consumers only for their personal use, excluding any use with commercial purpose (sale, renting or otherwise). Each order is limited to one razor per person but you can submit multiple orders provided they remain for your personal use and consumption.
